Ford sales collapse again - boycott a driving force
Ford Motor Company continues to suffer monthly sales losses because of its support of homosexuality.
For August, Ford reported a 14.4% drop in sales over the same month last year.
Rather than taking a neutral position in the culture war, Ford uses its profits to support gay activist groups, whose top agenda is to push pro-homosexual marriage and "gay" hate crimes laws on the rest of the nation.
While other automakers are at least holding their own (GM sales actually went up in August), Ford continues to suffer huge sales losses month after month.
It's obvious by now that homosexuals don't have enough purchasing power to keep the Ford ship afloat.
View a detailed report of Ford's support for homosexuality.

Islam terrorist who got on a plane with a bomb built into his shoe
Remember the Islam terrorist who got on a plane with a bomb built into his shoe and tried to light it?
Did you know his trial is over?
Did you know he was sentenced?
Did you see/hear any of the judge's comments on TV or Radio?
Didn't think so.
Everyone should hear what the Judge had to say.
Ruling by Judge William Young, US District Court.
Prior to sentencing, the Judge asked the defendant if he had anything to say. His response: After admitting h is guilt to the Court for the record, Reid also admitted his "allegiance to Osama bin Laden, to Islam, and to the religion of Allah," defiantly stating, "I think I will not apologize for my actions," and told the Court "I am at war with your country."
Judge Young then delivered the statement quoted below:
January 30, 2003, United States vs. Reid. Judge Young:
"Mr. Richard C. Reid, hearken now to the sentence the Court imposes upon you. On counts 1, 5 and 6: the Court sentences you to life in prison in the custody of the United States Attorney General. On counts 2, 3, 4 and 7, the Court sentences you to 20 years in prison on each count, the sentence on each count to run consecutively. (That's 80 years.)
On count 8: the Court sentences you to the mandatory 30 years again, to be served consecutively to the 80 years just imposed. The Court imposes upon you for each of the eight counts a fine of $250,000 that's an aggregate fine of $2 million. The Court accepts the Government's recommendation with
respect to restitution and orders restitution in the amount of $298.17 to Andre Bousquet and $5,784 to American Airlines.
The Court imposes upon you an $800 special assessment. The Court imposes upon you five years supervised release simply because the law requires it. But the life sentences are real life sentences so I need go no further.
This is the sentence that is provided for by our statutes. It is a fair and just sentence. It is a righteous sentence. Now, let me explain this to you. We are not afraid of you or any of your terrorist co-conspirators, Mr. Reid. We are Americans. We have been through the fire before. There is too much war talk here and I say that to everyone with the utmost respect. Here in this Court, we deal with individuals as individuals and care for individuals as individuals. As human beings, we reach out for justice.
You are not an enemy combatant. You are a terrorist. You are not a soldier in any war. You are a terrorist. To give you that reference, to call you a soldier, gives you far too much stature. Whether the officers of government do it or your attorney does it, or if you think you are a soldier. You are not ----- you are a terrorist. And we do not negotiate with terrorists. We do not meet with terrorists. We do not sign documents with terrorists. We hunt them down one by one and bring them to justice.
So war talk is way out of line in this Court. You are a big fellow. But you are not that big. You're no warrior. I've known warriors. You are a terrorist. A species of criminal that is guilty of multiple attempted murders. In a very real sense, State Trooper Santiago had it right when you first were taken off that plane and into custody and you wondered where the press and the TV crews were, and he said: "You're no big deal."
You are no big deal.
What your able counsel and what the equally able United States attorneys have grappled with and what I have as honestly as I know how tried to grapple with, is why you did something so horrific. What was it that led you here to this courtroom today?
I have listened respectfully to what you have to say. And I ask you to search your heart and ask yourself what sort of unfathomable hate led you to do what you are guilty and admit you are guilty of doing? And, I have an answer for you. It may not satisfy you, but as I search this entire record, it comes as close to understanding as I know.
It seems to me you hate the one thing that to us is most precious. You hate our freedom. Our individual freedom. Our individual freedom to live as we choose, to come and go as we choose, to believe or not believe as we individually choose. Here, in this society, the very wind carries freedom. It carries it everywhere from sea to shining sea. It is because we prize individual freedom so much that you are here in this beautiful courtroom. So that everyone can see, truly see, that justice is administered fairly, individually, and discretely. It is for freedom's sake that your lawyers are striving so vigorously on your behalf, have filed appeals, will go on in their representation of you before other judges.
We Americans are all about freedom. Because we all know that the way we treat you, Mr. Reid, is the measure of our own liberties. Make no mistake though. It is yet true that we will bare any burden;??? pay any price, to preserve our freedoms. Look around this courtroom. Mark it well. The world is not going to long remember what you or I say here. The day after tomorrow, it will be forgotten, but this, however, will long endure.
Here in this courtroom and courtrooms all across America , the American people will gather to see that justice, individual justice, justice, not war, individual justice is in fact being done. The very President of the United States, through his officers, will have to come into courtrooms and lay out evidence on which specific matters can be judged and juries of citizens will gather to sit and judge that evidence democratically, to mold and shape and refine our sense of justice.
See that flag, Mr. Reid? That's the flag of the United States of America. That flag will f ly there long after this is all forgotten. That flag stands for freedom. And it always will.
Mr. Custody Officer. Stand him down.
So, how much of this Judge's comments did we hear on our TV sets? We need more judges like Judge Young, but that's another subject. Pass this around. Everyone should and needs to hear what this fine judge had to say. Powerful words that strike home. God Bless America
Please forward this------so that every American and the World has a chance to read it.

JAY LENO COMMENTS
This is a comment by Jay Leno and if you aren't a fan of him it is worth reading anyway. We don't often stop to think about what we have and more always think about what we don't have.
===================
"The other day I was reading Newsweek magazine and came across some poll data I found rather hard to believe. It must be true given the source, right?
The Newsweek poll alleges that 67 percent of Americans are unhappy with the direction the country is headed and 69 percent of the country is unhappy with the performance of the president. In essence, two-thirds of the citizenry just ain't happy and want a change.
So being the knuckle dragger I am, I started thinking, ''What we are so unhappy about?''
Is it that we have electricity and running water 24 hours a day, 7 days a week? Is our unhappiness the result of having air conditioning in the summer and heating in the winter? Could it be that 95.4 percent of these unhappy folks have a job? Maybe it is the ability to walk into a grocery store at any time and see more food in moments than Darfur has seen in the last year?
Maybe it is the ability to drive from the Pacific Ocean to the Atlantic Ocean without having to present identification papers as we move through each state? Or possibly the hundreds of clean and safe motels we would find along the way that can provide temporary shelter? I guess having thousands of restaurants with varying cuisine from around the world is just not good enough. Or could it be that when we wreck our car, emergency workers show up and provide services to help all and even send a helicopter to take you to the hospital.
Perhaps you are one of the 70 percent of Americans who own a home. You may be upset with knowing that in the unfortunate case of a fire, a group of trained firefighters will appear in moments and use top notch equipment to extinguish the flames thus saving you, your family and your belongings. Or if, while at home watching one of your many flat screen TVs, a burglar or prowler intrudes, an officer equipped with a gun and a bullet-proof vest will come to defend you and your family against attack or loss. This all in the backdrop of a neighborhood free of bombs or militias raping and pillaging the residents. Neighborhoods where 90 percent of teenagers own cell phones and computers.
How about the complete religious, social and political freedoms we enjoy that are the envy of everyone in the world? Maybe that is what has 67 percent of you folks unhappy.
Fact is, we are the largest group of ungrateful, spoiled brats the world has ever seen. No wonder the world loves the U.S., yet has a great disdain for its citizens. They see us for what we are...the most blessed people in the world who do nothing but complain about what we don't have, and what we hate about the country instead of thanking the good Lord we live here.
I know, I know. What about the president who took us into war and has no plan to get us out? The president who has a measly 31 percent approval rating? Is this the same president who guided the nation in the dark days after 9/11? The president that cut taxes to bring an economy out of recession? Could this be the same guy who has been called every name in the book for succeeding in keeping all the spoiled ungrateful brats safe from terrorist attacks?
The commander in chief of an all-volunteer army that is out there defending you and me? Did you hear how bad the President is on the news or talk show? Did this news affect you so much, make you so unhappy you couldn't take a look around for yourself and see all the good things and be glad?
Think about it......are you upset at the President because he actually caused you personal pain OR is it because the "Media" told you he was failing to kiss your sorry ungrateful behind every day.
Make no mistake about it. The troops in Iraq and Afghanistan have volunteered to serve, and in many cases may have died for your freedom. There is currently no draft in this country. They didn't have to go.
They are able to refuse to go and end up with either a ''general'' discharge, an ''other than honorable'' discharge or, worst case scenario, a ''dishonorable'' discharge after a few days in the brig.
So why then the flat-out discontentment in the minds of 69 percent of Americans? Say what you want but I blame it on the media. If it bleeds it leads and they specialize in bad news. Everybody will watch a car crash with blood and guts. How many will watch kids selling lemonade at the corner? The media knows this and media outlets are for-profit corporations. They offer what sells, and when criticized, try to defend their actions by "justifying" them in one way or another. Just ask why they tried to allow a murderer like O.J. Simpson to write a book about how he didn't kill his wife, but if he did he would have done it this way......Insane!
Stop buying the negativism you are fed everyday by the media. Shut off the TV, burn Newsweek, and use the New York Times for the bottom of your bird cage. Then start being grateful for all we have as a country. There is exponentially more good than bad.
We are among the most blessed peoples on Earth and should thank God several times a day, or at least be thankful and appreciative."
"With hurricanes, tornados, fires out of control, mud slides, flooding, severe thunders storms tearing up the country from one end to another, and with the threat of bird flu and terrorist attacks, "Are we sure this is a good time to take God out of the Pledge of Allegiance?"

US Mexican usurp US Flag!

The protesters put up the Mexican flag over the American flag flying upside down at Montebello High School in California .. This should keep rolling along until everyone gets a copy in their email.
|
I do feel American need to take a stronger stand in areas such as this, but in checking http://www.snopes.com/photos/politics/mexicoflag.asp , I found, that while this is a true incident and the photo is real, Montebello High School was not the culprit, but rather students from two neighboring schools who overwhelmed the Montebello campus and stole the Montebello High School flag, added the Mexican Flag and turned the American Flag upside down. We do need to get our facts straight before forwarding e-mails such as this. Lorene |

Yesterday, I was in Dixie County at the annual Red Belly Days event.
Yesterday, I was in Dixie County at the annual Red Belly Days event. For one brief moment, I thought about skipping the vote next week and challenging my opponent Charlie Dean to a belly-buster contest in the Suwannee River, but my campaign aides suggested that might not be a good idea. I am not known for being skinny and felt pretty good about the size of my splash, but Charlie Dean is a pretty big guy. I guess I will just wait for the vote next week.
After that, I spent some time in Dunnellon on a radio show and then walked precincts all day. I always like walking precincts. It gives you the chance to meet people in their homes and hear their concerns face to face. I can assure you that I will maintain that same availability as your State Senator in Tallahassee.
This morning, I attended three church services – Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Ocala, St. Scholastica Catholic Church in Lecanto, and Blessed Trinity in Ocala. Afterward, I went down to Tampa to speak at the National Federation for the Blind in Tampa. My son Jeffrey is visually impaired, and I am very conscious of the need for advocates in the legislature for the physically disabled. I plan to continue to be that advocate in the State Senate.
If you haven't been able to volunteer yet, I could use your help on the team. Please call 352-620-9293 if you need information on how to participate on the campaign. If you are interested in checking out where I stand on the issues or would like to make a donation, please go to www.dennisbaxley.org.
Tomorrow, we are going to honor the people who have made the ultimate sacrifice to give us the freedoms that we enjoy. On Memorial Day, it is a solemn but necessary occasion to stop for a moment and think of what has been done to make America what it is today. Too often, we take for granted that we can vote on our elected leaders, worship in the way that we choose, own a small business, own a home, or hold the kind of job that we like and want to do. We forget sometimes that this freedom has been paid for by the blood and sacrifice of countless veterans and support personnel who have committed themselves and their very lives to defend what we believe God has given every person on the globe: the right to be free. Take time to honor our veterans tomorrow, and keep in mind that even now, there are soldiers putting themselves in harm’s way to keep us safe. Please join me and Ginette in remembering them and their families in our thoughts and prayers.
May God bless you all,
Dennis
============
Dunnellon — Today, Rep. Dennis Baxley, Speaker Pro Tem of the Florida House and Candidate for Senate District 3, issued the following statement on remembering our veterans during Memorial Day:
"When we drive to the store, attend church, work at our jobs, or simply hang out with our family and friends, we do so in a country that has the most freedom of any place on the planet. Too often, we take that freedom for granted, and it is on Memorial Day that we get a chance to honor those patriots who paid for this freedom with their sacrifice, with their blood, and with their tears.
"Those patriots made those sacrifices because they believed, as we do, that freedom is worth dying for. Even now, there are soldiers putting themselves in harm's way to allow us to live in safely and in freedom. While you are taking time to be with friends and family during this Memorial Day, please take a moment to join Ginette and me as we keep them and their families in our thoughts and prayers."

BAXLEY WINS FIRST VOTES
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
May 28, 2007 Contact: Corinne Mixon
Phone: (850) 766-5795
Tallahassee — Long time Tallahassee resident Christi Griner was the first person to vote in Leon County's opening day of early voting for the State Senate District 3 special Republican primary. She voted for Dennis Baxley.
"I have watched Dennis Baxley’s career from the perspective of mother, conservative, and Republican, and I can tell you that the choice was easy," said Christi Griner. "If you want a leader who is going to stand up for our values and not be afraid of the liberal special interests in Tallahassee, you will do just like I did and vote for Dennis Baxley."
Leon County's turnout rate in primary elections is typically one of the highest in State Senate District 3. This first vote cast is symbolic of Baxley's broad-based support and is part of a drive to turn out the vote for Baxley in the primary.
"Christi is a good friend and a Reagan Republican," said Baxley. "I am grateful for her vote and am committed to working hard for her in the Florida Senate."

BAXLEY WHIPS DEAN IN CITRUS CHRONICLE DEBATE
to other areas of Florida or his support for early release of inmates.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
May 24, 2007 Contact: Corinne Mixon
Phone: (850) 766-5795
Crystal River — Tonight in a candidate forum hosted by the Citrus Chronicle, Speaker Pro Tem and State Senate candidate Dennis Baxley faced off with his opponent Charles Dean and scored an overwhelming victory on the issues.
The issues discussed included specific topics on property tax relief, education, gambling, water and protection of natural resources, and public safety. Baxley displayed the most knowledge on the issues and used the forum as an opportunity to validate his Republican credentials.
Key differences in opinions on policy emerged most definitively on the issues of water protection and public safety. Baxley pointed out Dean's past support for shipping water from the Nature Coast on barges to the rest of the state as well as his past support as Sheriff for early release of inmates. Dean was unable to come up with a specific defense for either issue.
"I think tonight that people saw differences between the two candidates that will help them vote in this special election," said senior consultant Tim Harding. "For Republican voters looking for a consistent conservative and passionate leader to represent them in the state senate, it is clear that Dennis Baxley is their only choice."
It is noteworthy that this is the second of two debates held in Citrus County that Baxley has attended. Last week, Dean skipped a candidate forum held in Marion County.

The Baxley Spotlight
"It has been my experience in politics that when you shine the light of transparency, the roaches usually scatter."
–Dennis Baxley
"I am disgusted by the lawyers. It's a sign of the times that everything has to get lawyered up in our country, that civil society is really under attack. And I think the people will reject it."
–Jeb Bush
CHARLES DEAN’S TRIAL LAWYER FRIENDS LIE ABOUT BAXLEY – AGAIN!
1. Yesterday, Conservative Citizens for Justice, a group sponsored by one of Tallahassee’s most powerful special interest groups – the trial lawyers, launched yet another untrue personal attack on Dennis Baxley.
2. The trial lawyers are afraid of Dennis Baxley because of his strong stands on the issues like lawsuit reform and his unwillingness to play the inside-Tallahassee power games.
3. Be on the alert! The trial lawyers are conspiring with Charles Dean to twist the truth and smear Dennis Baxley.
4. These accusations are unfounded. There is no doubt that the liberal special interests would rather have Charles Dean instead of Dennis Baxley to push their agenda in Tallahassee. The only special interest that Dennis Baxley represents is the voters of Senate District 3.
THE MAILER
Allegations: The Mailer said that Dennis Baxley’s business was charged with 556 violations and claim that Dennis ran an illegal cemetery and was accused of improper handling of trust funds. Furthermore, the mailer claimed that Baxley tried to change the laws to benefit his own business.
Fact #1: Dennis Baxley has a completely unblemished record as an honorable businessman and is respected by all of his peers.
Fact #2: The funeral services business is one of the most highly regulated businesses in the state of Florida. Regularly, audits are performed and recommendations made by the state to keep these businesses in compliance. Baxley’s businesses have always responded to these recommendations in a timely manner and have re-adjusted accordingly.
Fact #3: Dennis’s funeral services business has a stellar record for delivering on its product. It has never been censured by the state for mishandling a customer’s money or not delivering services.
Fact #4: Dennis’s business had one unlicensed cemetery because it existed prior to the licensure for cemeteries. After licensure for cemeteries was created, Dennis took the necessary steps to bring it into compliance with the new rules.
THE TRIAL LAWYERS AND CHARLES DEAN ARE DESPERATE!
Don't get caught up in the political mudslinging and the politics as usual coming from powerful special interest groups like the trial lawyers.
Call Charles Dean at his campaign office at (352) 560-6184 and tell him to stop lying about Republicans and sign the Clean Campaign Pledge.

Tallahassee with the Downtown Rotary Club, and then drove to Madison to meet with Tommy Greene
I had lunch in Tallahassee with the Downtown Rotary Club, and then drove to Madison to meet with Tommy Greene, a longtime activist and publisher. I was also able to meet with a group of supporters in Madison County and was greatly encouraged by their enthusiasm in this special election. I stopped in at Macclenny in Baker County, where I enjoyed meeting with Toppy Conner and Darryl Register, President of the Baker County Farm Bureau. The meeting couldn't have gone better; Darryl announced his personal endorsement of my candidacy, for which I am extremely grateful.
I was incredibly pleased to pick up another endorsement today. The Marion County Builders Association announced their endorsement of my candidacy this afternoon. Like them, I share their concerns on the need for property tax relief.
We're in the home stretch. In NASCAR terms, we're heading into Turn 4, and I can see the checkered flag waving in the distance. If we keep working hard, we can celebrate in the victory lane on June 5.
If you haven't been able to volunteer yet, I could use your help on the team. Please call 352-620-9293 if you need information on how to participate on the campaign. comprehensive property tax relief
We are really beginning to make progress. We received a strong outpouring of support everywhere I traveled today. We spent most of the day raising money although I did have the opportunity to meet with Associated Industries of Florida in their candidate interviews as well as meet with the Marion County Realtors. Of primary concern to both groups was the stability of our economy and job growth. I believe that the number one thing that we can do right now to keep our economy on track and our state on firm financial footing is to provide comprehensive property tax relief. Our homeowners need it. Our renters need it. Our growers and agricultural community need it. Our small businesses need it. We cannot allow this issue to get caught up in Tallahassee’s politics as usual. We have to be thoughtful about the issue, but I know that people are hurting, and we need to give them the relief from the property tax burden that they need.
On another note, I had the occasion to speak with a number of supporters today who are concerned that we protect the quality of our springs and water supplies in the central part of the state. I have made this one of my key priorities for this campaign, and I have worked hard in the past to do the same. I strongly believe that our rivers and springs and the Everglades are natural treasures that must be protected. It is a quality of life issue, and it is an economic issue. We live in the most wonderful place on the planet. Our responsibility is to be stewards of this state so that people will continue to want to visit us and so that our children and grandchildren can continue the same quality of life that we have enjoyed for generations to come.
If you haven't been able to volunteer yet, I could use your help on the team. Please call 352-620-9293 if you need information on how to participate on the campaign. Baxley Calls on Opponent to Join Him in Signing Taxpayer Protection Pledge
May 22, 2007 Contact: Corinne Mixon
Phone: (850) 766-5795
Dunnellon — Today, Rep. Dennis Baxley, Speaker Pro Tem of the Florida House and Candidate for Senate District 3, called on his opponent former Democrat Charles Dean to join Baxley and the 1,187 state legislators across the nation who have signed the State Taxpayer Protection Pledge.
"I have been a long time supporter and signatory to the State Taxpayer Protection Pledge," said Baxley. "Americans for Tax Reform is a great organization that has supported low taxes for all Americans, and it concerns me that my opponent has never signed this important pledge.
"At a time when Republicans must present themselves with clear definition, I think nothing would be important than to commit to keeping taxes low. I encourage Charles Dean to take action immediately to show the voters of District 3 that he is committed to Republican principles."
Baxley has been a signatory to the State Taxpayer Protection Pledge as a member of the Florida House of Representatives, and has again signed the pledge as a candidate for state senate. The pledge can be found at www.atr.org.

Baxley Wins Hometown Crowd; Dean Makes Costly Error
May 21, 2007 Contact: Corinne Mixon
Phone: (850) 766-5795
Ocala — Today, Rep. Dennis Baxley, Speaker Pro Tem of the Florida House and Candidate for Senate District 3, spoke at the candidates debate hosted by the Marion County Republican Executive Committee and laid out a platform of leadership, values, and optimism for the people in District 3.
Baxley's opponent, former Democrat Charles Dean, failed to show up for the debate.
"What a great night," said Baxley. "I enjoyed the opportunity to once again connect with the people of Marion County, and emphasize the issues that we all care about, such as halting the expansion of gambling in our state, protecting our water, and defending our family values and our Constitutional freedoms."
Baxley enjoys widespread support throughout the senate district and has been endorsed by 19 local elected officials in Marion County. No other candidate has received a single endorsement from an elected official in Marion County, which has more Republican voters than any other county in District 3.
"Tonight, every Republican in Marion County saw the writing on the wall," said Stan McClain, Chairman of the Marion County Commission. "When Dean can't find time to come to Marion County when he's a candidate, how would he ever find time as a senator? The die has been cast."
"Apparently, my opponent hasn't looked at the district lines very closely," said Baxley. "He's going to be surprised on election day when he learns that 65 percent of the voters in District 3 live outside Citrus County."
In addition to the endorsements from the local elected officials in Marion County, Baxley enjoys the support of Sen. Steve Wise and Sen. Carey Baker, Rep. Frank Attkisson, the National Rifle Association, Florida Right to Life, and Republican leaders throughout Senate District 3.

Palmer Pendleton at the Silver Springs Shores Country Club, in Ocala, Florida
We joined Palmer Pendleton at the Silver Springs Shores Country Club, in Ocala, for a golf tournament to benefit the Susan G. Komen foundation to fight breast cancer. We had an enjoyable visit with the golfers before the tournament started.
We visited John McIsaac, vice-president of the North Suncoast Republican club. We met with local Republicans to discuss the election and the differences between me and my opponents.
I spoke at a candidate's forum at the Yankeetown-Inglis Republican club meeting at the local Lions Club. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to open the meeting with prayer. There, we visited with Republican State Committeewoman Edith McCrimmon and State Committeeman C.W. Gilbert and their distinguished Republican friends from all around the county.
I spoke at a graduation ceremony for homeschoolers, a truly moving experience to celebrate the great accomplishments of these young people.
I was honored to take part with Gaye Stokes, president of the Citrus County Right to Life, and with many of our pro-life friends, in their annual fundraising banquet at First Baptist Church of Inverness.
On Sunday morning, I attended services at Seven Rivers Presbyterian Church in Lecanto, and later that morning, at First Baptist Church of Crystal River. In the evening, I attended First Baptist Church of Beverly Hills. Both services were excellent, and I deeply appreciated the opportunity to worship with the people of Citrus County.
I am really looking forward to the next two weeks of campaigning, but I cannot win if I try to do it alone.
I need your help – not just your vote – but some real honest shoe leather help. We are walking precincts every day for the last two weeks of the campaign, and I would be honored to have you knock on a door or make a phone call.
Please call if you need information on how to participate. If you are interested in checking out where I stand on the issues or would like to make a donation, please go to www.dennisbaxley.org.
God bless you for all your help,

The speech George W. Bush SHOULD give:
Not doing it this time. If the polls are any indication, I don't know who more than half of you are anymore. I do know something terrible has happened, and that you're really not fellow Americans any longer.
I'll cut right to the chase here: I quit. Now before anyone gets all in a lather about me quitting to avoid impeachment, or to avoid prosecution or something, let me assure you: there's been no breaking of laws or impeachable offenses in this office. The reason I'm quitting is simple. I'm fed up with you people.
I'm fed up because you have no understanding of what's really going on in the world. Or of what's going on in this once-great nation of ours. And the majority of you are too damned lazy to do your homework and figure it out.
Let's start local. You've been sold a bill of goods by politicians and the news media. Polls show that the majority of you think the economy is in the tank, and that's despite record numbers of homeowners including record numbers of MINORITY homeowners. While we're mentioning minorities, I'll point out that minority business ownership is at an all-time high. Our unemployment rate is as low as it ever was during the Clinton Administration. I've mentioned all those things before, but it doesn't seem to have sunk in.
Despite the shock to our economy of 9/11, the stock market has rebounded to record levels and more Americans than ever are participating in these markets. Meanwhile, all you can do is whine about gas prices, and most of you are too damn stupid to realize that gas prices are high because there's increased demand in other parts of the world, and because a small handful of noisy idiots are more worried about polar bears and beach front property than your economic security.
We face real threats in the world. Don't give me this "blood for oil" thing. If I was trading blood for oil, I would've already seized Iraq's oil fields and let the rest of the country go to hell, and don't give me this 'Bush Lied, People Died' crap either. If I was the liar you morons take me for, I could've easily had chemical weapons planted in Iraq so they could be 'discovered.' Instead, I owned up to the fact that the intelligence was faulty. Let me remind you that the rest of the world thought Saddam had the goods, same as me. Let me also remind you, regime change in Iraq , was official US policy before I came into office. Some guy named ' Clinton ' established that policy. Bet you didn't know that, did you?
You idiots need to understand that we face a unique enemy. Back during the cold war, there were two major competing political and economic models squaring off. We won that war, but we did so because fundamentally, the Communists wanted to survive, just as we do. We were simply able to outspend and out-tech them.
That's not the case this time. The soldiers of our new enemy don't care if they survive. In fact, they want to die. That'd be fine, as long as they weren't also committed to taking as many of you with them as they can, but; they are. They want to kill you, and the bastards are all over the globe.
You should be grateful that they haven't gotten any more of us here in the United States since September 11, but; you're not. That's because you've got no idea how hard a small number of intelligence, military, law enforcement and homeland security people have worked to make sure of that. When this whole mess started, I warned you that this would be a long and difficult fight. I'm disappointed how many of you people think a long and difficult fight amounts to a single season of 'Survivor'.
Instead, you've grown impatient. You're incapable of seeing things through the long lens of history, the way our enemies do. You think that wars should last a few months, a few years, tops.
Making matters worse, you actively support those who help the enemy. Every time you buy the New York Times, every time you send a donation to a cut-and-run Democrat's political campaign, well, dammit, you might just as well Fedex a grenade launcher to a Jihadist. It amounts to the same thing.
In this day and age, it's easy enough to find the truth. It's all over the Internet. It just isn't on the pages of the New York Times or on NBC News. Even if it were, I doubt you'd be any smarter. Most of you would rather watch American Idol.
I could say more about your expectations that the government will always be there to bail you out, but; you're too stupid to leave a city that's below sea level and has a hurricane approaching. I could say more about your insane belief that government, not your own wallet, is where the money comes from, but; I've come to the conclusion that were I to do so, it would sail right over your heads.
So I quit. I'm going back to Crawford.
I've got an energy-efficient house down there (Al Gore could only dream) and the capability to be fully self-sufficient. No one ever heard of Crawford before I got elected, and as soon as I'm done here, pretty much no one will ever hear of it again. Maybe I'll be lucky enough to die of old age before the last pillars of America fall.
Oh, and by the way, Cheney's quitting too. ,That means Pelosi is your new President. ,You asked for it. ,Watch what she does carefully, because I still have a glimmer of hope that there're just enough of you remaining who are smart enough to turn this thing around in 2008.
So that's it. ,God bless what's left of America .
Some of you know what I mean.
The rest of you, ?????????.

Lafayette, Suwannee, and Leon counties Florida
As we predicted, the big money interests are already at it. Today, the first negative piece of campaigning hit mailboxes, and they are pretty desperate. They called me a tax raiser which is simply not true. I fought for the largest tax cut in the history of our state this year, and I'll continue the fight in the Florida Senate. The special interests twist the truth for power, and it's disappointing.
Almost three weeks ago, I signed a clean campaign pledge and requested that our Republican opponents sign it and abide by it. The pledge is on file with Chairman Jim Greer at the Republican Party of Florida. We're still waiting for my opponent to sign it. And so I will repeat my request that Charlie Dean sign the clean campaign pledge and condemn any third party attacks that violate that pledge.
Big corporations, big trial lawyers, big casino lobbyists -- these are the special interests in Tallahassee that are trying to steamroll this election by misleading the voters. They don't mind if our water goes to south Florida and our crime rate goes through the roof. They care about fattening their wallets... not about us.
However, I have confidence in the voters of District 3, and I have confidence in the truth, and I believe both will win on June 5. I believe the voters of this district care about values, about freedom, and about opportunity. And I'm ready to fight for the good people of this district.
And speaking of those good people, let me tell you more about them and about my day. At 5:30 this morning we departed from Tallahassee for Mayo in Lafayette County. (I actually attended first grade in Mayo.) We ate breakfast with Lafayette County Sheriff Carson McCall and a dozen other community leaders. We also sat with County Commissioner Charles Driver, City Commissioner Jim Catron, and Louis Shiver, a Suwannee River Water Management District Governing Board member. After breakfast, we took a tour of the Lafayette County Court House and met with Lafayette County Property Appraiser Tim Walker. We ate lunch at Big Pig Bar-B-Q in Mayo. The food was outstanding!
After lunch, we toured the Brewer Lake Baptist Church and met many members of the congregation. This was a great journey back for me; my father was the pastor at Brewer Lake Baptist Church. After the church, we met with local businessman Mike Shaw, and before we left Mayo, we met Suwanee County local radio host John Coke for an on location interview. It was a great day, and I am proud of the support we have in Mayo.

After breakfast we traveled to Anderson Columbia and met with Joe Anderson II
Today has been an incredibly active day. We left Tallahassee at 7:15 am and traveled to Perry for breakfast. We had an great down home country breakfast at the Downtown Cafe. I met Bummy Williams, the Sheriff of Taylor County, and had a great conversation with him. I also met with the Perry Police Chief, Vern Clark, and with members of the Thomas family, who own the local Chevrolet dealership.
After breakfast we traveled to Anderson Columbia and met with Joe Anderson II. This was our second trip to Anderson Columbia, but our first meeting with Joe. He's a great guy with a wealth of insight and knowledge. After our meeting, we moved on to the Perry Rotary Club. I'm a Rotarian, so it worked out well for me to be able to make up a meeting in Taylor County! I was given the opportunity to address the club for a few minutes. I was given a warm introduction by Dan Simmons of the Buckeye Paper Company and the crowd made me feel very welcome. After lunch we drove to the Taylor Correctional Institution, where we were able to visit with the warden and many of the correctional officers.
Shortly after lunch we received the sad news that Rev. Jerry Falwell passed away today. The Christian Community lost one of our great soldiers today. Please keep Rev. Falwell's family in your thoughts and prayers this evening.
I made a quick stop in Chiefland and then made my way to the Crystal River American Legion. The American Legion was the scene of the first Senate District 3 candidate forum, sponsored by the Citrus County Republican Executive Committee. I felt that the debate was a huge success. We have a strong and defining message, and we are building more and more support throughout District 3.
If you are interested in checking out where I stand on the issues or would like to make a donation, please go to www.dennisbaxley.org.
Thank you for all of your support, and may God bless you all,
Dennis

Florida Right to Life PAC Endorses Dennis Baxley
"The endorsement of the Florida Right to Life PAC is a tremendous honor," said Baxley. "I believe strongly in the sanctity of life, and as a state senator, I will continue to do everything I can to protect life."
"Our endorsement of Dennis Baxley reflects our appreciation for his stand for the rights of unborn children, the elderly, and the infirm," said Carrie Eisnaugle, Chairman of the Florida Right to Life PAC. "We encourage the prolife community to participate in the election process by getting out to vote and to help with campaigning."
Baxley adds this endorsement to an already impressive roll including the following: Sen. Steve Wise and Sen. Carey Baker, Rep. Frank Attkisson, the National Rifle Association, 19 local elected officials in Marion and Citrus Counties, the Republican Committeeman and Committeewoman in Baker County, and the Dixie County Republican Executive Committee.

Baxley Wins First Candidate Forum
The topics discussed in the forum were property tax relief, property insurance reform, protecting children from sexual predators, protecting water and natural resources, and defending the family.
The loudest rounds of applause tonight went to Baxley in response to his answers on lawsuit reform and the sanctity of marriage.
"The trial lawyers hate me," said Baxley, to a room full of laughter and applause. "They can tolerate my opponent, but they are coming after me, and I don't mind paying a political price for doing what is right."
Baxley explained that the voters can expect hate mail and personal attacks to be leveled against him by special interests such as the trial lawyers, big business, and the casino lobby. He urged his opponent to sign his Fair Campaign Pledge and to commit to a clean campaign.
Baxley received more applause when the issue of the sanctity of marriage was addressed. He delivered a passionate defense and expressed his strong support for the Marriage Amendment Act, which would define marriage as being between a man and a woman.
"I can't wait to get back to Tallahassee," said Baxley. "The special interests will work for my opponent, but the only special interests I will answer to are the voters of Senate District 3."
